Some thoughts to an old friend

Written to a friend…
There’s really no journey in this life, except the one inside oneself. Qigong is just a tool, and a really exceptional one at that!
First, build a platform that will bring your physical self back to working order.
When you are no longer in survival mode, then you have the strength to start to look at who you really are, what brought you to this place in the first place, and how to unwind the unhealthy patterns that ruled your life before Qigong.
You are being given all of these tools, the biggest trick in anybody’s life is “Do I choose to use them or not?”
I studied everything I could for about 25 years, Shamanism, Reiki, Channeling every form of Qigong under the sun. It took 25 years to realise that Studying was the greatest distraction of them all!
I had become addicted to knowledge, and through this acquisition – and the constant lie “that I was moving forward”, (so this must be a noble cause), that I missed the opportunity to do what I’d always known I should do – Just Go Inside..!
These days I call myself an Intronaught – journeying to the centre of My Earth, like a modern day Jules Verne, seeking what there may be there, and expecting that something – to be NOTHING!
I wish you all the best on this personal journey, but my advice is to take the short cut, and quieten yourself. Find out what or who you really are, then everything will fall into place! The “Body” aspect of it just requires patient determination.
……….
Perhaps this will have some relevance for you too?
