Cramps and pH!

All sorts of curious thoughts pass through my brain on a daily basis, and today’s thought..
Cramps and the body’s pH…. (You know I’m a great lover of Supergreens and the likes!)
From the Neijing Suwen, regarding the liver, this..
“Acid injures the muscular forces”
The implication is that acid is good for the liver, but in excess it damages the liver. In The Su Wen, the liver’s “action” is gripping – therefore we are lead to the conclusion that muscle cramps can be brought on by acid. That seems to feel correct from a sports perspective, C02 being acid etc..
It made me wonder too if menstrual cramps might be alleviated by an alkaline diet.
I look forward to a reader testing my theory and writing me back!
