How I love China – as with every country, we have a preconception of how it will be, judging it by the way our media portrays it.
That preconception has been destroyed, again and again. The people of China are wonderful, simple and dear-hearted folk.
I have found NOTHING except amazing welcomes from them.
The country is spell-bindingly beautiful

On my retreats, I’ve been lucky enough to visit Hainan Island in the South, Jinan and Shouguang City in the north east, and the cities of Xian and Chengdu in Central China. (And Hong Kong..)
This is barely scratching the surface, and misses out things such as Shanghai, Beijing and The Great Wall – plenty to be done yet!

But what of the Retreat?
From the UK, we’ll set off about the 12th or 13th of May, fly to Beijing, and take a local flight (90mins) or bullet train (4hrs) to the retreat centre near Gaoping, just to the South West of Beijing (TBC)
There will be students starting out in this manner from all over Europe and the world!

What to Expect
The Wolong Bay International Health centre, is built round a series of beautiful lakes. This huge complex, deep in nature has space for all.
We are going to Wolong for deep immersion in Qigong and Meditation.
The accommodation is supposed to be lovely and the food, excellent and varied.
Teacher’s Lu and Ling will lead the retreat, but there will be other Chinese teachers with us, and teachers from all over the world.
This retreat is about finding the Trueself.
If you are interested in getting onto the approach road to self-realisation, then this is it. Dr Pang handed down all the tools to Teacher’s Lu and Ling, who will present them to you in this intensive three week course.

Self-healing
In Zhineng Qigong, chronic illness is seen as a disturbance or blockage in the flow of one’s qi. On our journey through life we pick up many wrong-headed ideas, that leave us crippled by our subconscious patterns.
Learn to see through the accumulated rubbish, and heal yourself from the Trueself perspective of consciousness.
This retreat promises to be an exceptionally mind-expanding, healing experience.

Cost
Flying from the UK about 12th May to about 7th June I’d estimate a £3,000 spend.
There will be two or three days off, during the retreat.
(Whenever I’ve been offered these, I have gone into hibernation and slept all day! I only left my room in Guilin twice! The retreat was an exceptionally healing and intense experience for me.)
There will be a few trips laid on to visit local sites, but these don’t tend to add much extra cost.
There’s not a huge amount of “Shopping” to be done on this trip, it’s about hunkering down, and going deep.
Get a 45 day visa, and go traveling after if you wish of course!
(Usually about £150 I think..)

If you are able to travel, then you may attend this retreat.
It would be preferable if you have studied Zhineng Qigong before.
There will be many practitioners who are learning to become fully qualified healers on this retreat too. There will be many One to One healing sessions and group healing sessions.
Each day will feature lectures (in English), exercises classes and meditation sessions.
I for one, can attest to the amazing life changes I’ve experienced on retreat with Lu and Ling, and the things I’ve seen from fellow practitioners also.
The course is from May 15th to June 7th 2024
