Dear Friends,
You’ll know, if you’ve followed me for any length of time, that I have firmly set my sail behind my Teachers Lu and Ling.
I have worked with many of the original Teachers from Dr Pang’s Medicineless Hospital over the years, but these are the two who’s teaching consistently feels deep and authentic.
In the past, with Three Monkey’s school (now defunct) we invited Lu and Ling to teach in the UK five or six times.
I have been on retreat with them all over the UK, and in Spain and France, and have visited them in China several times. I have followed countless courses online with them over the years – as you can judge, I have voted with my feet!
It is with this background that I present to you a rough sketch of what you can expect from them for 2026.
Their calendar is as follows:-
January (and March) – The Online Healing course – this year’s course deals with Heart and Brain health, and the general health of the Blood and Cardiovascular system. (These online courses make up the basis of Teacher Lu’s training system.
He teaches a four year circular programme, which has four parts, one each year; a general introduction to Qigong, Blood System, Nervous System and Endocrine System Health.)
This course usually consists of ten two hour lessons in January and ten again in March, and costs in the region of €500 but is discounted for people who have worked with the Teachers before – price to be confirmed
February – Cultural Trip to China – Visit China for a holiday of celebration and relaxation. Lu and Ling invite you to join the group in China for three weeks of travelling, celebrating the Chinese New year, and of course some practice too!

May 5th to 29th – China Healing Retreat (At Wolong Bay in China) – This will again specialise in healing Specific Heart and Blood vessels illnesses – and how to do this in a Deep and Natural state. It’ll feature in-depth training to learn how to stop the mind from churning over quickly. (Although it seems to be a retreat for people with “heart Conditions” this is not quite the fact. If we take into account the effect of the Blood System in our body, then we see that it effects every aspect of our health and our lives. If you wish to attend a deep healing retreat, then this is for you, no matter what the specific illness is… It’ll just be approached this year through the lens of the blood system.
July – Parents and Children’s Camp (At Wolong Bay in China) – Lu and Ling invite Parents to come with their Children to examine the meaning of Family, and to open their and their Children’s special abilities. Dr Pang has many deep teachings on the way humanity could evolve, and that the family is the seed of this change.
I have personally seen Children demonstrating their special abilities, and was told an amazing story by three people who witnessed it, of a group of Children in Germany, who had leaned (in a week) to see without their eyes!
They could play the card game “Uno” blindfolded!!
August (Maybe mid-august, At Wolong Bay in China) – Lift Qi Up, Pour Qi Down – Teacher Training from True Self – Including Dark Room Do nothing mediation..!
This sounds like a fascinating course. Teacher Lu proposes to go into depth with this familiar form, but has also suggested that the participants will spend much time going deeper inside themselves and could spend a few days in a “Dark Box” environment to really experience the Trueself system, with no distraction.
Sept/Oct – 1 month extra for retreatants to stay in Wolong Bay, and go deeper… This is an extension of the August teaching course. There’s nothing structured offered, just time to be in community with the teachers and go deeper in practice
Live in Wolong Bay, help in the gardens, do some cooking, be part of the family and deepen your practice.
November and December – Teacher Lu will be visiting Europe and South America to hold short courses.
General Information – In past years, the average price has been about €800 for a return flight to China and about €200 for travel, transfers food drinks and extras outside of the course. So at least €1000
The course components will be in the region of €2500 per month with all teaching, food and board – discounted if you stay longer. (There are also discounts for people who have attended before, extra costs for single rooms, and sometimes small extra costs for cultural visits at weekends)
Lu and Ling have not produced their official flyer and price list for the above, but this gives you a general idea of what you’ll be working with, and what’s available to you in 2026
