Medicineless Hospital

For many years it’s been my desire to emulate Dr Pang Ming’s amazing Medicineless Hospital here in the UK, (Or anywhere I’m offered facilities!)

(I think it’ll be wise to transition the title to…”Medicineless Healing Centre” from now on!)

Dr Pang’s centre was open in the 90’s and had an astonishing record of curing people from all kinds of chronic illnesses.

He demonstrated at 95% success rate with 180 different types of afflictions that we often think of as being fatal.

“We should spend time in community”

Healing is all about being in a positive environment with positive people, eating well, sleeping well, being in nature and having no stress.

How is it possible to do this in our daily lives?

We need to be able to step out of “life” and take time to heal in a safe and friendly environment, (that doesn’t cost a fortune..)

This is what I hope YOU will help me create!

As has now been widely demonstrated and documented, good health is closely linked to low levels of STRESS.

Stress is a stimulus perceived by the body and when in excess, it then triggers a chain reaction of internal responses that are usually harmful.
One of the key points of healing without medicine is the elimination, or at least reduction, of stress.
This is why it is important to create a space that can be a “safe haven”, where we can feel that we can let go of our protective armour and switch off the alert system that usually accompanies us in our daily lives.
This state of “survival” keeps our sympathetic nervous system constantly active, creating a hormonal discharge that, in the long term, also leads to immune system dysfunction.

We can therefore see how important our surroundings are, and the stimuli we receive therein!

I’m suggesting a place where we can devote time to ourselves, reconnect with ourselves and nature. Returning to healthy rhythms so we can regenerate and recharge our batteries.
In order to heal, the body needs QI (energy); without it, it does not have enough fuel to regenerate its cells and restore harmony to its internal systems.

This would be a place where relationships can be experienced consciously.
Returning to healthy sharing, opening up to others in a welcoming and supportive environment, safe from judgement and preconceptions.
Exchange also means growth and evolution.
Through others, we can understand ourselves more deeply and thus heal our wounds or free ourselves from those blocks that lead to illness, stress, exhaustion, depression, and the likes

So how does this project look in real life?

  • I’m looking for a dedicated space to work in Portugal (where I currently live), in the UK or wherever you might suggest, that could accommodate at least 100 people, and be always available to me and to the community.
  • Somewhere where our students could also stay and be fed.
  • Somewhere where I and other teachers could put on courses, without fear of financial penalty.

(In order to offer retreats in the UK, I’m regularly asked for a deposit of £3,000 to 5,000 in the hope that people will come -and I’m asked to put this up front at least a year in advance… Covid almost bankrupted our now closed 3 Monkeys School!)

I’m also fascinated by the “small house” movement.
I’d like to find twenty or thirty like minded Qigong souls to invest in land, and to build a plot with their own Tiny Home.

The communal spaces could be used for retreats and holiday, and the wider community could inspire people all round the world to follow suit. This would be a not-for-profit development to further Qigong – Portugal has many options like this avaialable.

Meanwhile, here where I live, there would be the possibility of hosting several people, but I have not yet found a facility where I can hold classes or seminars.
People could stay in the millions of B&B’s, eat in the local restaurants and Cafes, and attend their courses with me or any teachers, if we had a dedicated practice space.
Of course, it is not a community, but it could be a start in terms of supporting and helping people.

I’m open to all ideas and offers!

To this end I have created a sister site called www.24days.org here, which tells the story more deeply, and sets out a plan for a co-operative experiment with our local council.

Suffice to say, if you don’t believe me that people are healing themselves EVERY day in China, go to Xi’an, Chengdu or Hainan to see for yourself.
I visited in April of 2019. I met over 40 people in a few days who had healed themselves. One had dissolved a 7cm and 3cm tumor from each side of her Thyroid in THREE WEEKS.

You may have seen Luke Chan’s famous, but quite old film from Dr Pang’s Hospital – View it here, it’s worth the watch!

This is my website for “Hidden In Plain Sight” – My Documentary about Zhineng Qigong, my Qigong Journey and Dr Pang

The idea is to use the documentary to reach as many people as possible, spreading hope but also sowing the seeds for the creation of a natural “healing” community.

Feel free to share it with anyone!
